Motion Assignment 2

Blurred Motion

Blurred motion is visually appealing because it focuses on one object and it focuses on capturing its movement and making it visually interesting to the viewer.

Frozen Motion

Frozen Motion is visually appealing because we never get to see what things really look like when they aren't frozen, because it happens to fast for us to really notice anything. So to see these images frozen is something that we don't normally see which makes them interesting to look at.

Panning

Panning is visually appealing because the focused point in the photo draws your attention towards it while the blur in the background is a mix of colors blended together to make it look more interesting.

Zooming

Zooming is visually appealing because it draws the viewers eye towards the middle of the photo and blends the colors together.

   Writing with light

Writing with Light is visually appealing because you can write out words with a light to make is stand out and add a greater meaning to the photo.

Chrono

Chrono is visually appealing because there are many of the same subjects in one photo and it is interesting photo editing.

Motion assignment

 Blurred Motion

Set up a camera on a tripod. Then set it on a slow shutter speed around 1/8 to get the image to blur while in motion.

 Frozen Motion

Use a tripod and set the camera up at a fast shutter speed to catch the movements of the subject without it being blurry.

Panning

When panning something don't use a tripod unless its you are a professional. You hold the camera and move it along with the subject as it moves using a slow shutter speed around 1/40.

  Zooming

Set up camera using a tripod with a slow shutter speed around 1/20. While the picture is being taken and the shutter is going you zoom in or out to get the blurred effect while keeping the camera in place.

Writing with light

Set the camera up on a tripod and use a slow shutter speed around 30". Get someone to go in front of the camera and while the picture is being take, move a light around. The slow shutter speed makes the light blurred.

Chrono

Set up a tripod, make sure is super tight. the background needs to stay the same for all of them. The camera is set on a fast shutter speed so it catches the subject in motion and its not blurry. You take multiple pictures of the object in different posses. To edit the photo you need to use layer mask and edit each picture on top of the other and make it so only the subject is showing, and the background is cut out.the result will be a picture with one back ground and a lot of different subjects all around.

First of all not all my pictures are up here because there has been a technical problem, but i can show you also for this assignment i used texture. this is actually my favorite shooting assigment because i actually got what was going on. I feel like i did a great job focusing on things but not so much in the depth of field part.

Apeture Quiz

 F/36
 F/16
f/5.6

I think this assignment cover the whole lesson we've been doing. I think next time i should focus on photographing something more interesting. Depth of field can manipulate a photo in order to focus on a certain object. l
